Match resources to objects and harvesting actions

Breathedge 2 resources are tied to different interactable objects: appliances, taped pipes, lamp fittings, industrial pads and mineral pickups. Start with the repair or recipe you want to finish, then search for that material's object and interaction.

Resource identification and collection reference

ResourceLook forCollection action
ElectronicsElectronic wreckage and dismantleable appliances, including a washing machine near the starting structures.Dismantle the usable appliance or rip out an interactable panel.
WiresElectrical panels, exposed wiring and cable bundles with a usable interaction.Use the cutting interaction on the bundle with the required tool.
Electrical TapeBlue tape wrapped around pipes and obstacles.Use the Cutter on the taped section.
AluminumAluminum deposits on asteroids, rather than ordinary floating Metal.Harvest the deposit with the Thumper.
PlasticStation equipment and broken components near the early structures.Search the nearby structures for attached Plastic before taking a long flight.
Light BulbsSpecific interactable lamp assemblies and fittings.Unscrew the clamp or fitting, then take the bulb.
RubberDark rubberized pads and panels on industrial structures.Cut the rubberized surface from the structure.
Refined MetalDeeper industrial equipment and containers.Break an interactable Refined Metal object and keep the result.
TitaniumSmall spiked balls instead of conventional mineral deposits.Recognize the spiked-ball shape and pick up the Titanium ball.
GlassFloating Glass balls inside the broken windowed corridor a short distance north of the train.Fly inside the tube and grab the Glass balls. Sweep up the Metal and Plastic in the same interior.

Plan each resource run around its bottleneck

  1. Check the repair or craft before leaving. Early in the Outskirts, protect Electronics, Wires, Electrical Tape and Aluminum.
  2. In the Depot, grab Light Bulbs before they become urgent. Rubber, Refined Metal and Titanium also become more relevant around its machinery.
  3. Give the blocked recipe priority over generic Metal. Reserve Wires and Electronics for a repair that needs them, or take a Titanium detour when the Backpack is nearly ready.
  4. Return when you solve the shortage. A collected Light Bulb, the needed Electrical Tape, or the Backpack's 4 Titanium can be the right stopping point for the trip.
04

Avoid unnecessary resource detours

Should I circle the northern corridor for Glass?
Fly inside the windowed tube. The Glass balls are in the interior, with Metal and Plastic available during the same sweep.
When is a resource run finished?
End the run when the item blocking your intended repair is collected. Getting that repair done can be worth more than filling the remaining carrying capacity with ordinary Metal.
