Make drinking water from Ice
Use Ice in the working Kettle Bobby to produce drinking water. An early kettle setup produces 3 bottles of water per processing cycle, making thirst easier to manage between trips to the train.
Keep an Ice reserve for oxygen
Save some unprocessed Ice before leaving on a longer trip. Turning the entire stack into drinking water solves thirst but leaves less Ice for oxygen equipment.
Purified Oxygen also consumes Ice: its recipe uses 2 Oxyworms, 1 Metal and 1 Ice. Keep that competing use in mind when deciding how much water to prepare.
Kettle Bobby and drinking water questions
