Repair the Public Oxygen Station and plan longer Outskirts routes around it. Farther out, Oxyworm Nests provide direct refills. Collecting Oxyworms also unlocks Purified Oxygen, giving you a portable supply for unfamiliar trips.
Purified Oxygen recipe and restoration
Craft Purified Oxygen from 2 Oxyworms, 1 Metal and 1 Ice. It restores 120 Oxygen. Keep some Ice unprocessed so you can support oxygen use as well as drinking-water production.
Plan an Oxygen-safe round trip
- Use the working Public Oxygen Station as an external refill point when planning your Outskirts route.
- Use known Oxyworm Nests for direct refills farther from the train, and carry Purified Oxygen on unfamiliar trips.
- At the destination, check that your remaining Oxygen covers the search or repair still ahead plus the route home. Refill first if that margin is uncertain.
Avoid running out of Oxygen mid-objective

- Turn back or refill before starting. Reaching the destination is only part of the trip: the work there still needs air before you can return safely.
