Small Engine research unlocks the Booster
The Booster is a movement upgrade unlocked through Small Engine research. Small Engines appear during Depot progression; completing their research makes the Booster available.
Turn the Booster blueprint into an upgrade
- Study the Small Engines you encounter while progressing through the Depot.
- Finish the research to unlock the Booster, then craft the newly available equipment.
- Use the crafted Booster for faster movement over the growing distances between objectives.
Do you need the Booster to finish the Depot?
- Is the Booster required to complete the Depot route?
- You can complete the Depot without waiting for the Booster. Treat it as a useful movement improvement: unlocking the blueprint and having a functioning movement setup are separate steps.
